Revival

Revival is a programme of community initiatives created by the Metropolitan Black Police Association, in response to incidents of gun and knife related crimes across London and other violent hotspot in the UK.

The initiative aims to bring together communities, united in the struggle to reduce and eradicate violent crime from our communities. The objective is to facilitate the sharing of information and best practice regarding local community initiative.

The philosophy underpinning Revival is one of support and empowerment for
the black community. In London the majority of victims and perpetrators are
young people under the age of twenty-five. This is a societal problem and
therefore we all have a role to play in reducing violence, we all have a role to
play in the support and nurture of our young people.
